We collect information you provide directly: • Email address (required to create an account) • Portfolio data you voluntarily upload (CSV files with stock positions, transactions, dividends) • Financial goals and target amounts you enter • Kenya fund balances and interest data you enter We also collect usage data automatically: • Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform (via PostHog analytics) • Error events and technical diagnostics • IP address and browser/device type for security and rate limiting
We use your information to: • Provide the portfolio tracking and analysis Service • Power the AI Advisor with your portfolio context • Send transactional emails (magic link sign-in, billing receipts) • Improve and debug the Service • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse We do NOT use your data for advertising. We do NOT sell your data to any third party.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment card details are sent directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information. We store only a Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription. See stripe.com/privacy for details.
Your data is stored in Supabase (a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). All connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Row-Level Security (RLS) is enforced at the database level — your data is only accessible to your authenticated account. We never store brokerage passwords or API keys. Uploaded CSV files are parsed in memory and the raw file is not persisted.
We use the following third-party services: • Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy) • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy) • Anthropic Claude — AI advisor responses (anthropic.com/privacy). Advisor queries include your portfolio context. • PostHog — product analytics (posthog.com/privacy) • Yahoo Finance / NSE data sources — market price data • Vercel — hosting (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) Each provider's privacy policy governs their use of data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records, which Stripe retains per financial regulations).
You have the right to: • Access the data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Export your portfolio data (CSV export available in-app) • Delete your account and associated data • Opt out of analytics tracking To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@dualmarketwealth.com.
We use a single first-party session cookie (set by Supabase) to maintain your authentication state. We also use a "demo_mode" cookie for demo sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at hello@dualmarketwealth.com.
Dual-Market Wealth is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the US (including from Kenya), your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
